Hmm… I Love Fortune Cookies!I have been collecting it lately, just wanted to share some… “You will be rewarded for your efforts within the month” — Did it come true, you ask? Indeed it did. I got awards that month. Cool “Your lost item will be found next week” — Okay, this one was a little creepy. I had recently lost my p.e. shorts. I didn’t find it but I did buy a new one. Still cool. “Soon, someone will make you very proud” — This one I questioned for a while. I don’t really know when I’m proud. I understand how parents and teachers would be proud of the kids’ accomplishments, but who would I be proud of. Huh, never did find out. “You will profit soon from an investment opportunity” — I bought a Roomba for about a 1/3 of the regular price. Awesome. Now these are the “advice” kind, not the predicting kind “Energy spent now preparing for tomorrow is sure to bear tasty fruit” – Uhh… sure. “Success won’t taste so good, without failure as appetizers” – Sure sure “A person with a determined heart frightens problems away” – Probably not me “In the end, all things will be known.” — Celerydip gave me this one. I think it’s like “you will find out if all your wishes will come true once the time comes. “If you think you can do a thing or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.” — Uhh… “Discipline is wisdom and vice versa.” – I know that. Now these is the most recent ones…from panda express. I think they’re good “Do not rush through life. Pause and enjoy it.” — Now this one I feel the need to explain a bit. I’ve been trying to make time go faster with my superpowers these days [note the sarcasm]. Time has been going a little slow for me. I just want to move on to bigger and better things, like studying abroad and all that. “A bold and dashing adventure is in your future.” – I’m not sure about this one yet. Just got it “The skies above will rain success onto you.” – CeleryDip gave this one to me, so I don’t think it counts, but it seems nice. “You will enjoy a trip to Asia.” – Yes! Even though I’ve already been to Asia (Vietnam, Taiwan, Thailand), I still have yet to go to South Korea and Japan! The strange ones… “Have a nice day :]” – uhh…sure. I think I’ll add more when I pig out some more. ^_^
