Out September 24. Finally, a scheduled date.

If you’ve seen the new promo pic or teaser for a song [check soompi. I won't have to bother looking for a link], then you know that it’s…different.

Ahh…shirtless, I can assume. No, colored version proves that they are (behind the flowing black fabric). If you just see the normal ver., then Changmin is the most covered up! Like everything from the neck down. Yeah, it is different, but I expected that. They’re like…24 k-years now? Sheesh. American celebs are wearing way less clothes nowadays while still in their teens. It certainly has made an impact (if you’ve seen the soompi thread…).

No! Can’t use as wallpaper. That’d be creepy though, since my parents walk by so much.

And the teaser song might not even be the cover song, since it seems like a song they were supposed to perform way back…a year ago, that leaked. So, who knows. It is different though. More rock-ish. If it is the cover track, then this is a new side to SMP songs. Hope that not all of the songs are like this one, though. (If, in fact, this song is on the new album). It’s been a long time since I heard one of their acapella songs (they are an acapella group, after all). Ahh…just thinking of it makes me happy. Too bad it’s weeks away.

ADD: I know they’ve been away from Korean songs (new ones, not Japanese>Korean) lately, so other groups have sort of “moved up” on the chain. I think it’s unfair to compare them to Big Bang or F.T Island (who’ve moved up). If you listen to each group, you’ll see that the styles are COMPLETELY different. Which group can acapella like DBSK? (The pros…). Which group can rap like Big Bang? Who can belt and play rock instruments like F.T Island? So basically comparing them would be a waste, essentially. I wish DBSK would have a HUGE comeback (ahem…check the amount of pre-orders…so much!). I’m definitely sure they will. I mean, world record largest OFFICIAL fan base? (That’s only the official ones, like Casseiopeia and Bigeast). Crazy, isn’t it. So I wish everyone would stop comparing them, and just hope for each of their success. (Though I do have a fiercely competitive nature, and would love it if more people supported DBSK).

9/11 update: Just saw the new teaser pic. W-O-W… Changminnie is so effin tall. Everyone else is within a certain range, but he’s like a beansprout that just shot up. And man! Abs galore! Hehe, I wish my stomach would be toned (to be the feminine equivalent of theirs). Makes me feel bad about my piggie ways. The funny thing is…it looks like track gear! Yunho’s pants (which are kind of pushed down from his hands in his pockets. Photog’s idea?), Changmin’s sweater/jacket (kind of like “Love Like Oxygen” style), and Junsu’s mesh top (work-out gear from le 80s~). Man, I forgot. Junsu’s getting pretty tall himself. From the pic view, it looks like he’s the 2nd tallest. And when did he start working out so much! Need to get adjusted…with that and Yoochun’s hair. Sort of unsettling to me recently. I’ll get used to it once I see more variety shows :].  He sort of the waif of the group now. His body whittling away… Get healthier Yoochunnie! Last but not least, Jaejoong: side view!

9/16 update: Holy holy shizz…actual song preview~! Thanks to Coolsmurf. First thing I did when I got home, checked the page. Then I see the album cover!!! And saw the teaser mv. Wow…heart attack! The album is called “Mirotic”, like I’d predicted in another post after knowing that the Japanese single would be called “Mirotic”. Wow, strange name. Instead of it meaning “spell”, which I had translated from the Japanese kanji, it means “maze”-tic. Haha, besides that. Gush! @ the album cover! Yunho’s the only one we see somewhat bare (the rest we can imagine…by placing the other teaser pics’ bodies to these faces. Has the effect of them in motion. I can actually imagine them wiggle around, trying to pose. Hehe. Strong expressions. Can’t help but somewhat giggle at Jaejoong’s expression. One eye seems larger than the other, so it’s like the sinister type of thing. Well, to the teaser MV. Background’s pretty plain. Gasp! It reminds me of SS501-’Deja Vu’ MV! Like their stuck in the room! Even the grayish color reminds me of A’ST1-’1.2.3.4. Back’ MV. They’re dancing, though I can’t quite see how dramatic the moves are from the clip. Don’t really see the famous ‘Rising Sun’ and ‘O’ jumps. But there’s this cute move where they place their hands over their mouths. Kind of WG-esque (or SNSD). Grayish outfits to match. Love Yoochun’s pounding on the clear wall. And Yunho’s hair! Aww…can’t really see Jaejoong alot. I watched and replayed that mere 20 sec. over and over and I still can’t notice him. Can’t wait for the full MV!

9/17 update: Wow, I REALLY love fandom. You get things like info and tidbits quicker. Just heard the full ver. of “Hey (Don’t Bring Me Down)”. AWESOME! Yes, as expected, on replay. Not sure how to describe it. It’s just so…addicting. Not in the annoying catchy way. In the talented way Starts out with beatboxing? With a really strong beat, like Queen style (‘we will we will rock you’). Love Changmin’s part in the bg while Junsu sings. And his own part! Junsu obviously the star of this song (dude, where is Yunho?). And Yoochun’s “give it away” part. Tongue twister…how he says it so fast. Then Jaejoong, Junsu, and Changmin, respectively. Can’t get enough of Junsu and Jaejoong’s parts! (Again, where’s Yunho? I can’t really tell when he sings in this song). Awesome. But I want to hear the full ver. of the title song ‘Mirotic’!!! 9/18 update: Heard the full ver. of “Mirotic”! Awesome as hell! Catchy as hell (in the good way). Junsu’s voice is kick-ass! Jaejoong’s part right at the beginning is cool. (Sounds a little high though). You don’t really hear the Changmin’s background “Yeah yeah” part in the beginning like you heard in the preview. Yunho’s rap…awesome. The vocals sort of weave around one another around 2 min. something. Overall, I’m glad to be alive right now I don’t really care to compare the song to “Triangle”, “Rising Sun”, or “O.Jung.Ban.Hap”. All I know is that this song is SOO addictingly good…
