Summer list of Asian Drama/Movie recommendations
Since I have time (no hw, though I should be studying), I’ll just make a list of a whole bunch of asian dramas/movies to watch over the summer (for you guys, and anyone else who cares). I’ll post the wiki.d-addicts page too, so you can check out plots, actors, etc. You can watch these when you have time during the summer.

Goong/Princess Hours (K) – Eps. 24 (I have) (My favorite. Extremely good)
My Girl (K) – Eps. 16 (I have) (One of my favorites. Hilarious)
Dal Ja’s Spring (K) – Eps. 22 (I have) (I love the plotline. Also hilarious)
Hwang Jin Yi (K) – Eps. 24 (Tearjerker. Jang Geun Suk!!!)
I Hate You But It’s Fine/Likeable or Not (K) – Eps. 170 (I’m almost done with it! It’s so interesting. I have to watch it everyday.)
Hong Gil Dong (K) – Eps. 24 (Hilarious. Jang Geun Suk!!!)
Delightful Girl Choon Hyang (K) – Eps. 17 (Antagonists piss me off =___=)
DBSK Banjun Dramas (K) – Eps/Parts. 7 (I have) (For all DBSK lovers)
Super Rookie (K) – Eps. 20 (I have) (Funny)
Glass Slippers (K) – Eps. 40 (I watched a looong time ago, but I still like it)
Winter Sonata (K) – Eps. 20 (Another classic)
1 Litre of Tears (J) – Eps. 11 (I have) (The biggest tearjerker ever!)
Hana Yori Dango Season 1&2 (J) – 1 Eps. 9, 2 Eps. 11 (I have) (Hilarious and sweet. You always root for the couple!)
First Kiss (J) – Eps. 11 (I have) (I think I cried for this, but I don’t remember why)
Absolute Boyfriend/Zettai Kareshi (J) – Eps. … (Currently watching)
Honey and Clover (J) – Eps. 11 (Never got to finish!)
Devil Beside You (T) – Eps. 14 (TV) 20 (DVD) (Watched too many times! Ahh…sweet)
It Started with a Kiss Seasons 1&2 (T) – 1 Eps. 20 2 Eps. 20 (A bit exaggerated, but interesting)
Silence (T) – Eps. 19 (I HAD) (You’re definitely gonna cry. Especially after hearing “Try to Remember” the last time)
Hana Kimi (T) – Eps. 15 (I HAD) (Hilarious…a bit ADD)
Movies:
The Classic (K) (Really good. You might cry. I love the plot and switching between time periods. Good visuals)
Going Crazy Waiting (K) (A bit slow in the begininning. The ending is great. The couples are great. There was this one really awkward part where I kept laughing…Jang Geun Suk!!!)
He Was Cool (K) (OMG. Hilarious! Not only that, the characters have depth to them)
200 Pound Beauty (K) (Hilarious.)
100 Days with Mr. Arrogant (K) (Kim Jae Won and Ha Ji Won…both of them were also in Hwang Jin Yi. Hilarious, and I LOVE the climax scene at the end, and the way they showed how things came together)
Attack on the Pin-up Boys (K) (Super Junior! A bit weird with the panda and the “bag” throwing, but funny)
My Sassy Girl (K) (A classic. I think the American remake is gonna suck compared to this. The ending’s awesome)
Virgin Snow (J/K) (Ehh…I liked how it had both Korean and Japanese. I didn’t like the plot though. Still…Lee Jun Ki!)
A Millionaire’s First Love (K) (Sad. Everyone says they cry…but I guess I was too distracted with other things. Gotta love DBSK [and Jaejoong's solo] “Insa”)
The Art of Seduction (K) (Very funny)
Crying Out Love in the Center of the World (J) (it’s sad…but once again I didn’t cry. This is where Changmin’s “Unforgetable Love” originated, though I think his was based off the korean version)
Just to name a few. These are the ones I really liked that I finished or am close to finishing.
fainting fanatics
so today we were these placard things in science where there are papers around the room and we walk up to them and copy the info down. i was working with wetsponge. so we were doing it and then sponge had to go back to her chair to get something, on the way she tripped on a backpack. everyone was like are you ok and she said yeah. about a minute later we’re still standing at that placard on the wall. i was sitting on a desk near there and sponge was standing in front of it since she couldn’t see w/o her glasses. we’re alll working when suddenly sponge stiffs up and falls backwards as straight as a board. on the way down, she bangs her head on the cupboard. my first reaction was holy **** how did she go from standing to flat on the ground. i jump off my desk and kneel down next to her. Her whole body is stiff but her eyes are open. ( i swear to god, the look on your face will haunt me forever because you looked as if you had died) by this time i was panicking. thought5s were going through my head and im shaking. i shake her, but still no reaction. then i start trying to get her to her feet. she were surprisingly light or maybe it was my rush of adrenaline. when i finally got her to her feet, she snapped out of it and was like whoa what hapened. i told her and then she went and sat down with her head down. at this time, mrs.richards FINALLY gets that its not a joke and calls the nurse. mrs.engel comes with a wheelchair and she is taken to the nurses office where her mom was called. that was the scariest school day ever. i would never be able to take it if i saw someone DIE.
Happenings at Carl’s Junior and stuff
So, just yesterday, (Tuesday) Celery and I were walking to CJ to get food. When we were walking in, Kyle and his buds were spitting spit balls at us. We just ignored them and went to get our food. When we got our food, we went to sit in a booth. We had a couple minutes of peace, when Kyle came and he sat in a booth that was right behind Cel. He started bothering me about my height, so I told him. And then he was like “Hey, you wanna get with my friend?”
I kind of looked around at his friends and none of his friends seemed “worthy” (LOL, its not like I would’ve said yes anyway… regardless of who his friends are) and so I was like NO.
Then, he said, “My friend isn’t here with me. He wants to get to know you… he’s tall and he white.”
It kind of went on like that until me and Cel finished eating and we got up and left. And he was also bugging me for my name, which I didn’t tell him.
When we got back to my place, we hung out in the tennis court. We were talking about random stuff, and I was thinking about what Kyle said and here’s my reasoning: Kyle is either lying or telling the truth. If he’s telling the truth, then the guy must go to our school, because how else would he know me and “want to get to know me”? And then I thought about who the guy might be, so I asked myself “Who is tall and white that goes to our school that is not RJ?”
Need a hint? He was a part of our recent “scandal” with Eggy…… (dramatic music plays… DUN DUN DDDUUUNNNN!)
Now I’m like freaking out!! At least I don’t have any classes with him…..
Let’s hope Kyle was lying…
And something else happened. While we were hanging out in the court, Cel was sitting and bouncing on the net while I was riding the Waveboard. All of a sudden, a big, fat, balding white guy appeared at the locked door, and he said, “Open the door,” loudly. Me and Cel were just whispering to each “YOU open the door, no, you open the door!”
He got impatient, so he just screamed, “OPEN THE DOOR RIGHT NOW!”
At that point, I was like “OH SHIT, what did we do?”
When we got the door open, he stepped in and he was yelling at us. “Why are you sitting on the net? Is that good for the net? That is a brand new net, are you going to have the money to pay for it when you ruin it?” Then he glanced down at my Waveboard. “And why are you skateboarding in here? You can’t skateboard in here! That’s been a rule here since forever!”
These were the thoughts that were running through my mind:
-how the hell are we going to break the net if we sit on it? It’s not like we’re YOU.
-OH EM GEE, what is he, like 500 pounds?
-uh, it’s not a skateboard, it’s a Waveboard. DURR.
-if we make a run for it, will he be able to catch us?
-^hmmm, probably not, if only he would move, then we’d be able to make it out the door.
-BASTARD >:O
But here’s what I actually said when he was talking: a lot of apologizing, “sorry”s and “I don’t know”s whenever he asked a question.
I think I was kind of smirking because he as so ridiculous (in both appearance and speech).
